Executive Vice President
Variety Cruises is making a big push in to the U.S. market this year as the Athens-based line reveals plans to work with travel advisors across the country.
In this dynamic podcast, we speak with Yiannis Vontas, executive vice president of Variety, as he tells us about the fascinating ports the line will be visiting, thanks to its small-size vessels.
Bali and Tahiti are definitely on tap, as Variety also makes it a point to be a responsible supplier. The line has already switched to diesel fuel, which leaves a smaller carbon footprint on a destination, and it’s gone plastic free.
Curious if you have clients for Variety? “Our cruise travelers are people who usually prefer to spend six or seven days in the same destination, rather than a program that offers them five or six countries within the same week,” Vantas tells us.
